In the first episode of “Mind Power,” a personal development podcast by husband and wife team Rachel and Shane Krider, the duo discusses the topic of the law of attraction, which is the belief that focusing on positive thoughts can bring positive or experiences to oneself, and vice versa. Shane Krider takes the law of attraction one step further by delving into the thought process of how the law of attraction is influenced by your inner vibration.

This blog is a continuation of Shane’s previous blog, Law of Attraction: Create Your Own Destiny.

SHANE

I used to be very frustrated and angry. Getting good results was something that always seemed like it was outside of my ability to do. It’s like the harder I tried to do something, somehow the farther I would fall behind. It was very frustrating. Rachel, have you ever seen people out there that are just frustrated and angry?

RACHEL

Absolutely. For example, when we were driving to Santiago City, there was this lady behind us who just randomly started honking her horn. Traffic was busy, so there was nowhere for anybody to go — we couldn’t go any faster and we couldn’t change lanes, but she kept honking.

That would be someone who was not winning in life. They’re frustrated, and taking their anger out on nobody in particular.

I think the key with getting control of your vibration is even when you are in really challenging times, you need to harness the power of your mind. You need to actually channel your energies and thought processes to what you want to create, and stop focusing on what you do not want to create. The challenge is that when things aren’t going well, you need to actually jump into that greater level of vibration so that you’re attracting more of what you want.

SHANE

That’s an important thing, so how do you jump into that greater level of vibration, and what does that really look like?

According to quantum physics, everything that’s around you — from desks to pencils to your coffee mug — is basically vibrating energy. Even you’re vibrating energy. If I’m vibrating at a level when I feel like I’m the effect — no matter what I do, I feel hopeless — I’m going to attract more and more frustration.

In fact, I could tell where my vibration level was at in my life based on what movies I watched. When I was younger and angrier, I used to like more violent and angry movies. I still watch and enjoy those movies now, but not like I used to.

It’s because I’m on a totally different vibration, and it changed the way I saw things.
